Everything I do has purpose.
Everything I do has reason.
Until her.

I play my games thinking several moves ahead.
Power. Power. Power.
Until her.

The next move requires I marry and soon.
This will strengthen us and secure our position.
But I am not to marry her.

I am to wed the eldest Volkov.
Problem is, her younger sister is the one who awakens my dead heart.
It is her I want in my bed and by my side forever.
Her. Her. Her.

In this game, though, it’s not about what I want.
But maybe it can be about what she wants.

I am Vlad.
Vile. Vicious. Villainous. Vasiliev.
And I will win eventually.

About K. Webster

K Webster is the author of dozens romance books in many different genres including contemporary romance, historical romance, paranormal romance, and erotic romance. When not spending time with her husband of twelve years and two adorable children, she’s active on social media connecting with her readers.

Her other passions besides writing include reading and graphic design. K can always be found in front of her computer chasing her next idea and taking action. She looks forward to the day when she will see one of her titles on the big screen.

About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

REVIEW – Pivot Line (The Falling Small Duet #2) by Rebel Farris

Pivot Line

Sometimes the worst lies… are the ones we tell ourselves.

His death left me broken—destroyed.

It wasn’t the incident alone. I was already damaged beyond repair by the events leading to that moment. But seeing his lifeless body only sealed my fate. So many mistakes. So much regret.

Dex wants to know what happened that night. He wants to catch a killer and put my demons to rest. I’m just not sure I can trust him after the lies he told to get close. I’m wary… guarded. Still, I’ll welcome him to my world and lead him into the darkness.

Destroyed….. it’s a powerful word and this book destroys you and has your mind so confused that when you figure out what the author has been spinning around you you lose balance and fall on your ass in a puddle of your tears. (A little dramatic I know BUT this author has words that will speak to your soul.) Pivot Line is a part of a duet in which you will need to read the first book False Start before reading this book. And I will tell you that this duet is my number one read of 2018. (Technically one and two but they are at the top!)

As soon as you finish False Start (book one) then you should immediately start Pivot Line because it takes off where you are left with the craziest cliff hanger! Prepare yourself for an entire day of reading because this book is not a book you will put down once you start reading, in fact, this entire duet is amazingly read in a few days.

Your heart will be pounding, stomach in knots, nails completely gone and you are at the edge of your seat nearly falling off because you will NEVER believe who the stalker is and I swear I seriously thought I knew but boy was I wrong. I had some many weird theories as to who and why but never did I expect what happens once the stalker is revealed. If you ask Rebel I told her my silly thought as to who I thought it was and she said that it was a new one…. pretty sure she was being nice. lol

Let me just say this about Maddie…she is one hell of a woman and a fucking insanely talented one at that! The more the story went along the more I was taken by her and although I understand why she does a few things I am wondering if things would have been worse if she didn’t do those things.

**Do you ever feel like you want to give away a big secret and wish everyone else was in on it with you…. I want to explode with all the knowledge you learn at the end of this book!!!**

Dex is an incredible human being! The way that he is just sucked me into his warm muscular body and had me trembling at every word spoken by the man. And okay to say that I was a little afraid of what I would find out at the end would be an understatement because what would happen to Dex.

I applaud this fascinating author with all her extraordinary characters and the ability to knock me on my ass along with making me want to sleep with everyone in this book, well almost everyone. I am so grateful to be trusted with the ability to get an arc of this book to give an honest review, because damn who wouldn’t love this freaking book! It has romance, suspense, rock stars, loving parents, hot sex and even some danger! It has everything and you should all read it!! Congrats Rebel on a soon to be best seller because HOT DAMN you got me!!!

BLOG TOUR – The Happy Endings Boxed Set by L. Wilder

Collection Title: The Happy Endings Collection
Titles: My Temptation ~ Bring The Heat ~ His Promise
Author: L. Wilder
Genre: RomCom

Release Date: February 20, 2018

After one too many disappointments in and out of the bedroom, I’d all but given up on men. While I was doubtful that therapy would change anything, I had to try something.

As soon as I walked into Dr. Seth Michaels’ office, temptation set in. With his piercing green eyes and devilish smile, the handsome doctor was every woman’s fantasy, including mine.

He tempted me in ways that I never dreamed possible, but some lines just can’t be crossed. With a newfound libido, I left his office thinking I would never see him again, but fate and a meddling mother had other plans.

Tucker Michaels could bring the heat, striking out anyone who stepped up to the plate, and he was burning up the big leagues.

At least, that’s what I was told.

I had no idea who Tucker Michaels was, and I honestly didn’t care. From the moment I met him, I thought he was an arrogant, smart-mouthed jerk.

I’ll admit he was hot—if you’re into those gorgeous, athletic types, but there was no mistaking the way he looked at me, like I was about to be his next grand slam.

Unfortunately for him, he was about to be the one to strike out. I had no interest in playing games, especially when he was helping my little brother’s baseball team.

… But after a week from hell and one too many drinks, I was starting to see another side of the sexy, charismatic player.

After the devastating loss of my wife and daughter, I did everything in my power to guard my heart, making everyone, including myself, believe I no longer had one. I focused on my work and kept everyone at a distance. It was the only way I could face the day.

I had no time for distractions, but the day Langley, my legal assistant, asked for help with her custody battle there was no way I could refuse. When I was at my worst, she was there to pick up the pieces, making sure I didn’t lose the only thing I had left—my career.

Now, it was my turn to ensure she didn’t lose the one thing she cared about most—her children.

I promised to help, but I had no way of knowing that one promise would turn my entire world upside down. With the help of her two kids, she chiseled away at the walls I’d worked so hard to build, and I found myself wanting the one thing I thought was out of my reach—another chance at love.

I sat in my car and took several deep breaths, trying to collect myself before I headed inside. When I finally walked into the house, I found Beatrice sitting at the kitchen counter. She was still in her little, red flannel pajamas, and her curly hair was down around her face. She had a crayon in one hand and an oatmeal cookie in the other, and as soon as she saw me heading in her direction, she sat up in her chair and smiled. “Hi, Mr. Colton. I’m making you a picture for your refrigerator.”
And just like that, my bad mood started to falter. I walked over to the counter, and when I looked over her shoulder, I saw that she was drawing a picture of man wearing a suit. When I noticed the dark hair, I realized it was a picture of me.
“Looking good, kid.” “It’s you.”
“I see that, but you’re missing my beard.”
“That’s because I don’t like your beard,” she replied innocently.
“You don’t?”
She shook her head as she bit her bottom lip. “It makes you look a little scary. I like you better without it.”
“Scary?” I ran my hand over my chin, tugging at the bristles of my beard. “You really think so?”
“Umm-hmmm. And it makes you look kind of old.”
“Old? Really?” I asked with surprise.
“Yes, sir, but just a little. Not like Santa Claus kind of old.”
Damn. The kid knew how to hit a guy where it hurts. She looked up at me with those dark eyes of hers, and I couldn’t help but smile. “Gee … thanks, kid.”
She studied me for a moment before she asked, “I’m sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?”
“No, Beatrice,” I told her as I opened the refrigerator. “You can’t hurt my feelings, because I don’t have any feelings to hurt.”
Just as I reached for the jug of tea, she laughed. “That’s funny.”
“Why’s that?”
“Everybody has feelings, Mr. Colton.” She stood up and handed me the picture she’d been working on. “Even you.”
I glanced down at the picture and was surprised to see that she’d added my beard. When I looked back over to her, she was walking towards the stairs. “Thanks for the picture, Beatrice.”
She turned back just long enough to say, “Don’t forget to put it on the fridge, so everyone can see it.”
“You got it.”
I walked over to the refrigerator door and as I reached for a magnet, I took a moment to look at my portrait. There was something familiar about the man in the drawing, something that gave me a strange feeling when I looked at it. As I stood there staring at it, I suddenly felt overcome with emotion. After several moments, I realized that the man with big, dark eyes, a thick, bushy beard, and a goofy grin used to be me. It had been so long since I’d seen that side of me that I’d almost forgotten he even existed. I missed it. I missed having a reason to smile, a reason to be truly happy, and I wondered if I would ever have it again. I was lost in my thoughts, when Langley walked up behind me. “It turned out pretty good, don’t you think?”
Trying to collect myself, I cleared my throat before I replied, “The kid’s got talent. She made me look good, and that’s saying something.”
“I think she did a great job with your beard.” She snickered.
“What is it with you two and my beard?”
“I like your beard. It makes you look … distinguished.”
“Um-hmm,” I scoffed.

“Seriously. I like the beard.” As I watched the corners of her mouth curl into a smile, I found myself thinking of the kiss we’d shared the night before. There was this moment, just before our lips touched, where I felt the world stop spinning, and for an ever-so-brief moment, anticipation hung in the air. It was just a moment, a mere blink, but it was so intense I could feel it pulling me towards her. When our lips finally touched, that feeling didn’t dissipate. Instead, it grew stronger as I felt her warm, soft mouth pressed against mine, and when I finally released her from our embrace, I had to fight the urge to reach for her and kiss her all over again. I felt an unexpected connection between us, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she’d felt it, too.
Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.

Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.

REVIEW – Tussle by Jacob Chance

“Why haven’t we had sex?”

When Jesse Gunn one of the biggest stars of World Class Wrestling voiced that million dollar question, yet again, I was stunned. After countless times of turning him down, I thought eventually he’d give up.

Unexpectedly thrown together for a work project, my mind went to places I’d never allowed. Dirty places where sweaty, naked bodies take center ring and names are rasped out in the heat of the moment.

Now, my time is spent wondering if a certain part of him could possibly live up to his last name, distracting me from my full time job – as his boss.

Tussle is a full length sports romcom.

I love Jacob’s writing and the stories he comes up with gets better and better. My favorite thing about when Jacob tells a story it’s not the same thing everyone else is telling. Although even if he has done something someone else has he puts a twist to it. I’m in love with these characters and even some side characters that I would love to hear more from in the future!!

Lilah had me from the beginning and even though I didn’t think I would like her because she was the CEO’s daughter and sometimes those people (men and women) are stuck up or turn their noses up to the little people. The way I thought this story was going to go kind of got a slap in the face pretty quickly in the beginning. I can’t wait for you to read this because I don’t want to give away my favorite parts!! Let me just say that I love Lilah, she’s spunky, funny and doesn’t take shit from Jesse.

The banter between Jesse and Lilah kept the biggest smile on my face because even though things couldn’t happen they still had chemistry. Jesse turned me on and it wasn’t even his “Gunn” that turned me on, it was just him! I don’t know how Lilah did it because this man is so much more than looks!

Jacob please know how big of a fan I am of your work. The writing style is flawless and as much as I am not a wrestling fan I devoured this book and still needed more of Jesse and his sister! I can’t wait to see what you have next and I know this will be another best seller!

COVER REVEAL – Reclaim (A Redemption Novel) by Marley Valentine

Title: Reclaim
Series: A Redemption Novel
Author: Marley Valentine
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 29, 2018
Cover Artist: PopKitty Design
Unlike most eighteen year olds, I had the weight of the world on my young shoulders. Desperate to do right by my family, my questionable choices led me to the pits of hell.
Steel bars, three meals a day and no contact with the outside world; regret consumed my every thought. Desperate to pay my penance, forgiveness and a happily ever after wasn’t the plan.
But there she was.
Warm, passionate and unexpected, Emerson Lane was the light at the end of the tunnel. She was all a man like me could want and everything I didn’t deserve.
Redemption wasn’t something I thought I would ever find. Until she found me.
The metal rubs roughly against my skin, cutting deep into my wrists, as forceful hands press into the middle of my back, urging me forward.
My feet shuffle around the splattered blood decorating the tiled floor, and my eyes wander over the mess I’m leaving behind.
What have I done?
Stepping outside, I’m welcomed by the flashing strobed of red and blue lights, and the prying eyes of everyone I’ve ever known.
Staring. Questioning. Judging.
I keep my head down, willing myself to wake up from this horrible nightmare. Praying that my irresponsible choices didn’t just take away my whole family. With each step I take the sound of gunshots bouncing off the walls echoes through my mind. Mixed with the memory of Sasha’s blood curdling screams, and I know I’m destined to be haunted by this moment forever.
“Ma’am you’re going to have to move out of the way.” The officer’s stern voice has me looking up. I wondered if I would see her before they took me away. She stands before me, leaning on the police car. Her tears are uncontrollable, and her shoulders shake in grief. If a broken heart had a face, hers would be it.
I step closer, and let all the regret, the confusion and the ultimate betrayal linger between us.
“I’m so sorry.” I say, my voice hoarse and broken.
The second the words leave my mouth, her body stiffens. I know their inadequate. She straightens her back, and wipes her face; ridding herself of her vulnerability.
“Sorry?” She spits out in a question. “I hope you fucking burn in hell.”
My head hangs in defeat, knowing those gates are open wide and ready to welcome me.
I feel his disappointment before I see him. “Sasha, the ambulance is making its way to the hospital. Dakota needs you.” My brother Hendrix stares at me like he’s noticing me for the first time. Wondering what he missed, and how we got here. Shaking his head he leaves me behind, and follows his future.
“Drix,” I call out. His shoulders rise and fall at the sound of my voice. “I know how important she is to you. Take care of them for me, you’ll do a better job than I ever could.”
My request scratches the surface of our unspoken thoughts. Guilt swims in my veins and regret cinches my heart. There isn’t a life around me I haven’t touched and stained, and the pain etched on all their faces is tangible proof.

This is the only thing I’ll be remembered for.

Marley Valentine comes from the future. Living in Sydney, Australia with her family, when she’s not busy writing her own stories, she spends most of her time immersed in the words of her favourite authors.
